Ehmna Aslam BA (Hons) Photography 2020

Ehmna Aslam is a portrait and fashion photographer who’s work explores the emotional and subjective resonance of colour. Through staged compositions, experimenting with studio, lights and coloured gels, Ehmna's photographs play with light and colour to alter the registers in which we might read a portrait.  Working hand in hand these elements are a visually exciting, engaging way of attaching an expression of emotion, which she hopes will be perceived differently by audiences.
