Sebastian Hakim BA (Hons) Filmmaking 2020

I have used my time and the resources at university to push myself in to becoming a versatile all round filmmaker and photographer specialising in directing, editing, producing and camera operating. Through the skills and training I have learnt, I have been able to apply for professional jobs and  gain highly valuable experience in the professional industry, especially in my third year. I have found a strong interest in music related video content, such as music videos and live music sessions and this is something I currently want to pursue in my professional practise.

I also have a passion for documentary filmmaking as I strongly believe that using visual storytelling can give a voice to people that would not otherwise have one. I feel very blessed that I have learnt and developed a skill that can be a used as a tool to create change.
