Emily Mount BA (Hons) Illustration with Animation 2020

Drawing is the backbone of my practice, which served me well when resources were limited over lockdown. I use an idiosyncratic, bouncing line to build structure while also keeping an ambience.  Energy is important to my work; I draw in gestures and have developed a fluidity that allows me to decorate with freedom. I discuss the human form playfully; My figures are neutral and ambiguous, designed for the viewer to interact with an interpret.
