Benedict Tomlinson BA (Hons) Photography 2020

Benedict Tomlinson is a fine art architectural photographer who specialises in the manipulation of modern structures.

Tomlinson’s latest work ‘Disassociated Architecture’ explores the connection between structures and his images, by presenting this as an engaging and interactive experience.

Tomlinson has used aluminium as a printing base for his work, exploring the resemblance of his image with that of the materials of the building. The manipulated image makes a physical connection with its environment.

By using layered materials this gives his work the 3D perspective which enables us as the viewer to see the images from a variety of angles.
