Emily Carey BA (Hons) Photography 2020

Emily Carey’s project, “Where would I be Without You" documents her Grandma’s journey of bereavement and the continuing of life, following the passing of her Grandad. Emphasised through the use of natural and delicate light, reflecting that her Grandad’s life is still ever present. Emily’s work is influenced by her relationship with her Grandma and how the family dynamic has changed after her Grandad’s death. Her work aims to invite the viewer on a journey that is personal to her but relatable to most.
