Ella Haywood BA (Hons) Textiles in Practice 2020

This collection is inspired by the connection between colour, place and emotion. The intentions were to create a structural, geometric feel, making the focus centered around the formation and architecture of places that represent a personal, emotional connection to Ella. Furthering this theme, the colour palette is specifically chosen based on emotional connotations.

In an attempt to explore colour, communicating designs in 3 colour palettes aims to show an awareness of colour balance within each composition. 

The designs are intended for an interior context, specifically furnishings. There are a range of repeats and single compositions, for rugs, cushions, and lampshades, as visualised.
