Millie Bicknell BA (Hons) Textiles in Practice 2020

Millie is a mixed media textile designer. Her work focuses on laser cut techniques and sensory textiles. Throughout this year her work has explored haptic design and accessory outcomes. The process of Millie’s work begins with initial drawing towards abstract themes, which are then translated into three dimensional constructions, made from a variety of traditional and unconventional techniques. Millie has expressed in an interest into sensory art, and centres her designs around personal interactions.
