Being a set of fifty-two and corresponding to the number of weeks in a year, at the beginning of January I set about utilising a pack of playing cards to capture myself each week through a self-portrait drawing. I was interested in documenting the ups and downs of my feelings and my change of mood throughout the year. This has of course become even more intriguing a project due to this very turbulent and unprecedented year we are all experiencing.
