This Sketchbook is littered with half-baked plans, scraps of research and simplified character design. I like to use my sketchbooks as a place to document a tangle of thoughts, with this one unravelling to become my first claymation. I used car chases and walk cycles to visualise scene transitions that needed to occur over multiple fields of view. My Sketchbook acts as the vehicle which helps transfer static ideas into stop motion pieces. Rethinking rewilding through characterful adaptions of Britain’s lost ecosystems.
