Eva Lawrence
Although a little messier than my previous years’ sketchbooks, I am proud of the way this pair encase my ideas over the final year of my degree. They reveal my development as an artist, working proactively by engaging in exhibitions, community actions and protests and they evidence my use of new and different media with wide-ranging experiments. They also embrace artistic humour, refining the balance between the serious and comical in my work as well as housing some new ideas which I am excited to work on in the coming months beyond my degree.
